Description:

Employer is the Bulgarian National Gas Operating Company – “Bulgargaz” EAD (it’s a 100% state owned company).
The project comprises in construction, installation, test and commissioning of two consecutive lots from the main high pressure gas pipeline to Greece – 20th and 21st.
20th and 21st Sections are situated between Lisitchevo village and “IHTIMAN” N.G.Compressor Station in Rila Mountain (Bulgarian highest mountain). The main part of the construction activities were carried out in a very rocky mountainous area.
Automatic Welding Works – 38%.
Manual Welding Works – 62%.
The Automatic Welding Works were done with the CRC-Evans Automatic Spread owned by „Gasstroymontaj” JSC.

Excavation Works: 145 180 m3 by Section 20 and 131 400 m3 by Section 21.
„Gasstroymontaj” JSC executed 3 crossings of “Trakia” highway, 15 road crossings, and 3 river crossings as well as 1 railway road crossing.
