Description:
At the end of 2008 "Gasstroymontaj" JSC won after a competition the first project for the last 10 years in Bulgaria for a pressure cast iron pipeline: "Reconstruction of water-supply pressure pipeline from Main Pump Station ”Ormana” to “Borovetz” water tank", town of Yambol, which is implemented with iron pipes with silicate coating inside, with socket connections and rubber gaskets Titon or Standart, as well as fastening and with welded cordon. The water pipeline is estimated at 10 atmospheres. The water pipeline has two pipes ф500mm. The pressure water pipeline passes under main roads and river Tundzha.
The project includes delivery, installation and testing of the pipelines.

  • Чугунени Cast iron socket pipes: ф500mm, length 5724m;

  • cast iron elbow with different degree ф500mm - 89 pcs.;

  • tees;

  • valves on a project etc.;

  • Steel pipes ф530 and ф720mm - 571m;

  • HDPE pipes PE100 ф225mm, ф315mm and ф560mm - 580m;

  • implementation of concrete shafts on individual projects - 15 pcs.

    The construction works on the site include also:

  • sewage deviations - 31pcs.;

  • street collectors - 7pcs.;

  • plumbing deviations of "Slivnitsa" Str. - 16pcs.;

  • water pipeline on "Vit" Str. with HDPE pipes ф110m - 119m;

  • reconstruction of asbestos cement pipeline ф400 with iron pipes - 190m;

  • street flows and connections with the street sewage system are made - 30pcs.;

  • reconstruction of steel water pipeline ф80 - 120m;

  • reconstruction of asbestos water pipeline ф400 - 192m;

  • earth works - 22 550m3;

  • deterioration and recovery of street asphalt surfaces - 4 501m2;

  • deterioration and recovery of street pavement surfaces - 2 820m2;

  • horizontal drilling for crossing roads - 3pcs. with total length L=2x49m;

  • crossing under rowing channel - L=2x93m;

  • crossing under Tundzha river - L=2x63m.

    The pressure water pipeline is one of the big government objects in Yambol municipality and is implemented with funding from state budget. It provides a supply of potable water to over 70% of the population of the city. It constriction, successfully finalized in this year, was obligatory because of the frequent accidents and interruption of water supply, which created inconvenience to the residents of the municipality. With the construction of the new pipeline was solved a serious and delayed over the years problem. The new iron water pipeline is with better permeability, withstands greater pressure, inside is coated with antibacterial cover and the material from which it is built is with corrosion resistance and very long life.
