Description:

Contractor of the object is Consortium "GSM Sabev".
The project is implemented under "Program for elimination of invironmental damages, caused by past actions or inactions till the moment of privatisation of "Lead-Zink Complex" ("OZK") JSC, Kurdzhali" to the Ministry of Environment and Water of Bulgaria.
Funding is provided by the Ministry of Finance.
Main activities:
- surface drainage of zinc and lead sludge depots;
- construction of wells for disposal of contaminated groundwater in sedimentary assemblage shaft and then to a treatment plant for heavy water.
The project starts in January 2012.
